What a RoCode run looks like
Where Ropilot is stronger
- It playtests. Ropilot can start the game, drive inputs, take screenshots, find the bug and rerun. RoCode compile-checks scripts and reads the Output of playtests you run, which catches errors but not gameplay.
- It makes 3D models and animations: its desktop app installs and drives Blender. RoCode builds with parts and does not make meshes or animations.
- It has the wider model lineup. Ropilot lets you pick GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-6 Luna, Claude Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5 or Sonnet 5 per task. RoCode has five built-in models, with Claude Sonnet 5.5 from Pro, and the two strongest sit on higher plans: Claude Opus 5.5 from Studio ($24.99 a month) and GPT-6 Astra from Ultra ($49.99 a month).
- Linux support, through the desktop app.

- A real free tier. 3 credits every day for as long as you like, not a one-time starter balance.
- Half the price for a subscription. Pro is $9.99 a month ($83.99 a year) against Ropilot Plus at $20, and it includes Claude Sonnet 5.5. Studio, the first plan with Claude Opus 5.5, is $24.99.
- Predictable allowance. A month of Pro is 150 credits, yours to spend at any pace, not a weekly credit drip. RoCode credits and Ropilot credits are different units, so compare prices, not credit counts.
- Undo is Studio’s own: each batch of RoCode changes is marked as an undo point on the normal undo stack.

- Free plan: 3 credits a day, no card. On the free model that is enough for a few small tasks a day.
- Pro $9.99 a month (150 credits), Studio $24.99 (400), Ultra $49.99 (900), Max $99.99 (2,000). Billed yearly, each plan costs 30% less with the same credits.
- A credit measures what a run costs to compute. It is not the same unit as a Ropilot credit. On GLM 5.3 it is usually about 4 credits a task. Claude Sonnet 5.5, Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra use credits faster.
- Credit packs from 25 credits for $2.99 up to 1,500 credits for $94.99, for paid plans. They never expire.
- Your own OpenRouter key and a model you choose on Pro and above, billed by OpenRouter, not by RoCode.
Ropilot

- Free starter credits during onboarding, no card.
- Ropilot Plus: $20 a month for 50 credits every week, plus the newest models and priority routing.
- One-time packs: $8 for 30 credits, $12 for 70, $50 for 350, $99 for 800. Larger Pro and Max packs exist.
- One credit is about 2 Advanced prompts or 5 Blaze prompts by their own guide. GPT-6 Astra uses credits at about 4 times the GPT-6 Sol rate.
- Bring your own ChatGPT or Claude plan with a Ropilot Actions subscription, priced separately.
Which one
Which should you pick?
Pick Ropilot if the thing you want most is an agent that plays your game and proves a fix works, or if you want its wider model lineup, which includes Claude Fable 5.1. That playtest loop is real and RoCode does not have it.
Pick RoCode if you want the agent inside your open place with nothing to install on the PC, a free allowance you can use every single day, and paid plans that start at half the price. If you already have an OpenRouter key, RoCode's paid plans can use it too.

Questions
Can RoCode playtest my game like Ropilot?
No. RoCode compile-checks the scripts it writes inside Studio, reads the Output of playtests you run and can re-read the objects it changed. It does not start a playtest or capture screenshots. If automatic playtesting is your deciding feature, Ropilot has it today.
Do I need to install a desktop app for RoCode?
No. RoCode is a web chat plus a plugin from the Roblox Creator Store. The plugin connects to the chat with a one-time code. Ropilot ships a desktop app called Ropilot Studio that installs its plugin for you.
Which is cheaper?
For a subscription, RoCode Pro at $9.99 a month is about half of Ropilot Plus at $20. For occasional use, RoCode’s free plan gives you 3 credits every day, while Ropilot’s free credits are a one-time starter balance and its smallest pack is $8. RoCode credits and Ropilot credits are different units.
