Where Ropilot is stronger
- It playtests. Ropilot can start the game, drive inputs, take screenshots, find the bug and rerun. RoCode checks syntax and reads the Output window, which catches errors but not gameplay.
- It runs the frontier models out of the box. If you want GPT-6 Astra or Claude Fable 5.1 without bringing a key, Ropilot includes them in its credits.
- Linux support, through the desktop app.
Where RoCode is stronger
- Nothing to install on your PC beyond the Studio plugin. The chat is a web page, so it works on a locked-down school or work machine.
- A real free tier. 250,000 tokens every day for as long as you like, not a one-time starter balance.
- Half the price for a subscription. Pro is $9.99 a month against Ropilot Plus at $20, and annual Pro works out at $7.00 a month.
- Predictable allowance. A month of Pro is 60 million tokens on the included models, not a weekly credit drip.
- Undo is Studio’s own. Every RoCode change sits on the normal undo stack, so one shortcut takes it back.

Ropilot

- Free starter credits during onboarding, no card.
- Ropilot Plus: $20 a month for 40 credits every week, plus the newest models and priority routing.
- One-time packs: $8 for 30 credits, $12 for 70, $50 for 350, $99 for 800. Larger Pro and Max packs exist.
- One credit is about 2 Advanced prompts or 5 Blaze prompts by their own guide. GPT-6 Astra uses credits at about 4 times the GPT-6 Sol rate.
- Bring your own ChatGPT or Claude plan with a Ropilot Actions subscription, priced separately.
Which one
Which should you pick?
Pick Ropilot if the thing you want most is an agent that plays your game and proves a fix works, or if you want the frontier model lineup without managing a key of your own. That playtest loop is real and RoCode does not have it.
Pick RoCode if you want the agent inside your open place with nothing to install on the PC, a free allowance you can use every single day, and a subscription at half the price. If you already pay for Claude or GPT through OpenRouter, RoCode uses that key too.

Questions
Can RoCode playtest my game like Ropilot?
No. RoCode syntax-checks every script it writes inside Studio, reads the Output window and reads back the objects it changed. It does not start a playtest or capture screenshots. If automatic playtesting is your deciding feature, Ropilot has it today.
Do I need to install a desktop app for RoCode?
No. RoCode is a web chat plus a plugin from the Roblox Creator Store. The plugin pairs with the chat on the same network. Ropilot ships a desktop app called Ropilot Studio that installs its plugin for you.
Which is cheaper?
For a subscription, RoCode Pro at $9.99 a month is about half of Ropilot Plus at $20. For occasional use, RoCode’s free plan gives you 250,000 tokens every day, while Ropilot’s free credits are a one-time starter balance and its smallest pack is $8.
