Do I need a card to start?
No. The Starter plan is free and needs no card. Install the plugin, open the chat and build.
What does a plan actually limit?
Credits. Every run uses some, based on what the AI model costs for that run. Starter gets 3 credits a day. Paid plans get monthly credits with no daily cap. Stronger models use more credits, and the model picker shows what a task usually uses on each model. The balance in the chat header shows what is left.
What happens when I run out?
On Starter, wait for the refill at 00:00 UTC or upgrade. On a paid plan, add a credit pack, move to a bigger plan, switch to your own OpenRouter key or wait for your reset.
Is there a limit for one run?
One run pauses after a set number of credits and asks before it goes on. The limit depends on the model, and it can be lower on smaller plans. You can continue or let it finish up.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes, on any paid plan. Credit packs run from 25 credits for $2.99 up to 1,500 credits for $94.99, are used after your monthly credits and never expire. Buy them on your account page.
Do unused credits carry over?
No. Starter’s daily credits and a paid plan’s monthly credits don’t carry over. Pack credits never expire, and if your plan ends they stay on your account and work again when you pick a plan.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, from your account page. An upgrade takes effect straight away and you pay the prorated difference now. A downgrade is also immediate, and the unused part of your old plan comes off your next bill. If most of this period’s credits are already used, a move between monthly plans still happens, with nothing taken off your next bill; any other downgrade waits until after your renewal (monthly) or your next credit reset (annual), and the account page shows the date. A move between monthly and annual is billed now and starts a new billing period that day, with the unused part of the old one taken off.
Are there annual plans?
Yes. Every paid plan can be billed once a year for 30% less than 12 months: Pro $83.99, Studio $209.99, Ultra $419.99 and Max $839.99 a year. An annual plan has the same credits as the monthly one, refilled every 30 days. An annual plan bought before credits stays as it is.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from your account page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for and nothing is charged after that.
Are prices before tax?
Yes. Local tax, if any, is added at checkout based on your country. Many US states add none.
Do you give refunds?
Yes. You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason, including renewals and credit packs. After a refund, new plans, upgrades and credit packs are paused for 60 days. Request it at paddle.net or reply to your Paddle receipt. After 14 days payments are not refundable. See our Terms.
Who takes the payment?
Paddle, our merchant of record. They handle the card, the tax and the invoice, so the charge on your statement comes from Paddle.
