Giant Desk Dash

You are tiny and the desk is huge. Climb books, a ruler and a mug to reach the lamp.

Core loop

Climb one desk object, reach its checkpoint, find the path to the next.

Three features

  • Desk objects built from parts at a giant scale
  • A checkpoint on the books, the ruler, the mug and the lamp
  • A finish pad on the lamp with a message for the winner

Game description

Shrink down and climb the biggest desk you have ever seen. Scale a stack of books, balance along a ruler, hop across pencils and reach the top of the lamp. Each object saves your progress, so keep climbing.

First 3 prompts for RoCode

  1. Build a giant desk from parts on the baseplate: a wooden desktop 200 studs wide, a stack of 4 huge books, a long ruler, 6 pencils lying in a path, a mug and a desk lamp, placed so a player can climb from the floor to the top of the lamp.
  2. Add checkpoints on top of the books, the ruler, the mug and the lamp, show each player's Stage in the player list and respawn them at the last one they reached.
  3. Add a Finish pad on top of the lamp that shows the message 'You reached the lamp!' on that player's screen for 3 seconds.

    Lantern Ledges

A night obby where the only light comes from a lantern at each checkpoint.

    Core loop

Jump across dark ledges, reach the next lantern, then try the longer jumps after it.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • 10 stages of floating ledges that get further apart
    • A glowing lantern checkpoint at the end of every stage
    • A misty kill floor under the whole course

    Game description

Climb through the dark from lantern to lantern. Every lantern you reach saves your progress, and every stage asks for a longer jump. Fall into the mist and you start again from your last light. How far can you get?

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build a night obby in front of the spawn: 10 stages of floating stone ledges that get further apart, with a lantern on a post at the end of each stage made from a Neon part and a PointLight. Set the Lighting ClockTime to 0.
    2. Add checkpoints: make each lantern post a checkpoint, show each player's Stage in the player list and respawn them at the last lantern they touched.
    3. Add a dark purple kill floor under the whole course that resets any player who touches it.

    Crumb Street Bakery

Run a bakery where ovens drop bread rolls onto a belt that carries them to the till.

    Core loop

Ovens drop bread, the belt sells it, you buy the next oven.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • A bakery plot you claim with a pad
    • Ovens that drop bread onto a conveyor
    • Buttons that unlock an oven, a counter and walls

    Game description

Claim an empty shop and turn it into the busiest bakery in town. Your ovens bake, the belt sells, and every coin goes into the next oven, counter or wall. Build it up one button at a time.

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build a tycoon plot in Workspace with a claim pad, two ovens made of parts that each drop a bread roll part every 2 seconds, a conveyor, and a till at the end that pays Cash to the plot owner.
    2. Add buy buttons on the floor: a third oven for 100 Cash, a counter for 250 and shop walls for 500, each appearing only after the one before is bought, with the price checked on the server.
    3. Show each button's name and price on a sign above it, and hide the buttons the owner has already bought.

    Pebble Pets

Hatch little rock pets that follow you around and boost your coins.

    Core loop

Collect coins, hatch an egg, let your pet boost every coin.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • An egg that hatches a random pet for coins
    • Pets made of parts that follow their owner
    • A coin bonus that depends on the pet

    Game description

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build a coin field with 30 coin parts that give 1 Coin on touch and come back after 10 seconds, with Coins in the player list.
    2. Add an egg made of parts with a ProximityPrompt that costs 50 Coins and gives the player a random pet, picked on the server: Grey Pebble (60%), Blue Pebble (30%) or Gold Pebble (10%).
    3. Make the player's newest pet, a small ball made of parts in its colour, follow just behind them, and make each coin give 1 extra Coin for Grey, 2 for Blue and 5 for Gold.

    Warehouse Watcher

Find five fuses in a dark warehouse while something slow but patient follows you.

    Core loop

Grab a fuse, stay away from the watcher, power the exit door.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • A warehouse maze of crates and shelves
    • A chaser NPC that follows the nearest player
    • An exit door that opens at five fuses

    Game description

The warehouse lights are dead and you are not alone. Find five fuses, plug them into the generator and get through the exit door. Keep moving: the watcher never stops.

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build a dark warehouse from the Room structure with rows of crates and shelves made of parts, a generator at one end and a closed exit door next to it.
    2. I added a block rig from the Avatar tab and named it Watcher. Make it chase the nearest player within 80 studs with pathfinding at WalkSpeed 10, and send a player back to the start when it touches them.
    3. Hide 5 fuse parts around the warehouse: touching one gives the player a Fuse, and the exit door opens for everyone once players have put 5 fuses into the generator with a ProximityPrompt.

    Fading Floor Frenzy

Stand on a floor of glass tiles that vanish after you step on them. Last player standing wins.

    Core loop

Wait in the lobby, survive on the shrinking floor, win or watch, next round.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • A floor of 100 glass tiles over a pit
    • Tiles that fade a moment after you step on them
    • Rounds with a Wins counter

    Game description

Every tile you step on starts to fade, and once it is gone it is gone. Keep moving, grab the last safe tiles and be the final player standing to take the win.

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build an arena over a dark pit using the Arena structure, with a 10 by 10 floor of glass tiles inside it and a kill part at the bottom of the pit.
    2. Make each tile turn red when a player steps on it, then fade out and stop colliding 1 second later. All tiles come back at the start of each round.
    3. Add a round system: a 15 second intermission that needs 2 players, teleport everyone onto the tiles, end the round when one player is left, give them a Win in leaderstats and reset the tiles.

    Copper Blade Coliseum

A classic sword arena with stone seats, torches and a KOs board.

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build a coliseum: the Arena structure with tiered stone seats made of parts around it, two spawn platforms on opposite sides and torches with PointLights.
    2. Make a sword: a Tool named Sword in StarterPack with a Handle and a blade welded to it, a LocalScript that fires a RemoteEvent on Activated, and a server Script that checks a 0.6 second cooldown and damages Humanoids in a box in front of the player for 20.
    3. Add a KOs stat to the player list that goes up by 1 for the player whose sword hit last when another player's health reaches 0.

    Core loop

Pick furniture, place it, show friends, come back and change it.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • A plot for each player
    • A furniture menu and grid placement
    • Your home saved between visits

    Game description

Claim your own little plot and make it home. Pick furniture from the catalogue, place it on the grid and invite friends over. Your home is saved for next time.

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build 6 empty house plots in a neighbourhood, each a floor from the Floor slab structure with low fences and a claim sign that gives the plot to the first player who touches it.
    2. Add a furniture menu GUI with 8 pieces made of parts in ServerStorage.Furniture, and placement: a see-through preview follows the mouse on a 2 stud grid on the player's own plot, R rotates it and a click places it, checked on the server.

    Core loop

Bolts drop, upgrader gates raise their value, the collector pays by value.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • Upgrader gates that raise each part's value once
    • A collector that pays what each part is worth
    • Cash and purchases saved between visits

    Game description

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Build a factory tycoon plot with a claim pad, a dropper that drops a grey bolt part with a Value attribute of 1 every 2 seconds, a conveyor and a collector that pays the plot owner Cash equal to the part's Value.
    2. Add two upgrader gates over the conveyor: the first doubles a part's Value and colours it blue, the second adds 10 and colours it gold. Each gate upgrades a part only once.
    3. Save the owner's Cash and the buttons they have bought with a data store, and rebuild their purchases when they claim a plot again.

    Star Tapper

Tap a giant star for Stardust, buy upgrades and rebirth for a permanent boost.

    Core loop

Tap, upgrade your tap, rebirth, tap faster.

    The build plan

    Three features

    • A Tap button with Click Power levels
    • Upgrades that cost more each level
    • Rebirths that multiply every tap

Tap the giant star to collect Stardust. Upgrade your tap, then rebirth to start over with a permanent boost. Every rebirth makes the next run faster.

    First 3 prompts for RoCode

    1. Make a clicker: a big Tap button that gives Stardust equal to Click Power times (Rebirths + 1), and an Upgrade button that costs 10 Stardust and grows 1.5 times each level, with all numbers kept on the server.
    2. Add a Rebirth button at 1,000 Stardust that resets Stardust and Click Power, adds 1 Rebirth in the player list, and doubles the rebirth price each time.
    3. Build a giant glowing star from Neon parts in the middle of the map, and make clicking it with a ClickDetector count as a Tap too.

How to use it

How to turn an idea into a game

One system per prompt, in the place you have open in Roblox Studio.

  1. Pick a genre and a level

Press Give me an idea until one makes you want to play it.

  2. Build the core loop first

Send the first prompt. It builds the one thing players repeat, in the place you have open.

  3. Play it yourself

Press Play in Studio. With plugin 3.9 or newer, RoCode can also run a short test and read the errors. Only you can tell if it is fun.

  4. Add one system per prompt

Send prompts 2 and 3, one at a time, then keep going. The linked guides explain each system with its code.

The pictures are examples, not a recorded run. When the game is ready, paste the description into Creator Hub and publish from Studio yourself: RoCode cannot publish or save your place.

FAQ

Questions

What is a good Roblox game idea for a beginner?

One with a single core loop that you can build first and test early, such as an obby with checkpoints, a small tycoon or a clicker simulator. In the generator, pick No scripting or Beginner: those ideas stick to parts and a few standard systems, and each comes with the first 3 prompts to build it.

Can I make a Roblox game without scripting?

You can build a world from parts in Roblox Studio without code, but checkpoints, kill bricks, timers and shops need scripts. The No scripting ideas keep the code to standard systems you can ask RoCode for in plain words, so you do not write the Luau yourself. You still play the game, tune it and publish it.

Is this Roblox game idea generator free?

Yes. It is free and needs no login. The ideas are stored in the page and picked in your browser. Building an idea with RoCode needs a free account, and RoCode gives free credits every day.

Does the idea generator use AI?

No. It picks from a fixed list of 84 ideas written for this page, 4 for each genre and skill level, and checked against what RoCode can build. The same idea always comes with the same prompts.

How do I build an idea with RoCode?

Press Build this in Studio with RoCode. It opens the RoCode chat, where you sign in and connect the free Studio plugin to the place you have open. Then send the idea’s first prompt, check what RoCode built, and send the next one. Copy idea copies all three prompts. On a phone, the button lets you send the prompt to your computer instead, because RoCode needs Roblox Studio on Windows or Mac.

Can AI make a whole Roblox game from one idea?

Not from one sentence. RoCode builds a game one feature per prompt in your own Studio place: one prompt can build a small playable scene, and a full game takes many prompts. That is why every idea here starts with the core loop and adds one system at a time. You still playtest, tune and publish the game yourself.

What makes a Roblox game idea worth building first?

A clear core loop: the one thing players repeat, such as jumping to the next checkpoint, or collecting, selling and upgrading. Build that loop first and play it before you add shops, saving or extra modes. A small game that works is a better start than a big one that is half built.

Where do I use the game description?

On your game’s page on Roblox. Paste it into your game’s description in Creator Hub when you set the game up, then edit it so it only promises what your game really has.

Why do some prompts mention a rig or a pass ID?

RoCode builds with parts, UI and scripts. It does not make animations or create game passes and developer products. When an idea needs an NPC, the prompt starts from a block rig you add from Studio’s Avatar tab. When it sells a pass or a product, you create it in Creator Hub and give RoCode its ID.
