The short answer
A Roblox Studio script is Luau code that runs in your game: a Script runs on the server and a LocalScript on each player's device. Every script listed here comes from one of our guides and is the same code the guide explains. Copy it, put it where its Explorer tree shows, and press Play.
Tested here means type-checked: each script passes luau-lsp in strict mode against Roblox's API definitions, which catches misspelt APIs and wrong types but not game logic. A script is marked as playtested only after a run in Studio, with the date.
Checked: 22 scripts, type-checked on 18 October 2026. Playtested in Studio: none yet.
How to use one
Copy, place, press Play
You need Roblox Studio and the place you want the script in.
- 1
Copy it
Open a script and click Copy. No account, no download.
- 2
Put it in its place
In the Explorer, hover over the service its tree shows, click +, insert a Script or LocalScript and paste the code into it.
- 3
Press Play
Open the Output window first (Window menu, then Output). An error there names the script and the line.

Checked, honestly
What "tested" means here
Type-checked against Roblox's API. Playtested only where a script says so, with the date.
What we check
- A strict type check. luau-lsp in strict mode with Roblox's API definitions, so a misspelt property or a wrong type fails.
- The same code as the guide. The box shows the exact block the guide explains, so both are checked together.
- A date on every script. Each box says when it was checked, and when it was playtested, if it was.
What you still check
- Press Play. A type check does not run the game, so only playing shows whether it does what you want.
- Names in your place. A script that looks for a part, a tag or a folder needs it under that exact name.
- Data stores in Studio. Saving needs a published place with Studio Access to API Services turned on.
Two ways

FAQ
Questions
Where do I put a script in Roblox Studio?
It depends on where the code should run. A Script in ServerScriptService runs on the server, a LocalScript in a place such as StarterPlayerScripts or StarterGui runs on each player's device, and a ModuleScript holds code that other scripts load with require. Each script here shows its place as an Explorer tree, and the client and server scripts guide explains the difference.
Are these Roblox Studio scripts free?
Yes. Copy any script without an account and change it to fit your game. Only the optional RoCode button, which builds a script into your place for you, needs a sign-in.
Are the scripts tested?
Each one passes Luau's strict type checker, luau-lsp, against Roblox's API definitions, and each box shows the date it was checked. A type check catches misspelt APIs and wrong types, not game logic. A script is marked as playtested only after a run in Studio, with the date; until then, press Play and watch the Output window before you publish.
Why does my script not run?
Most often it is the wrong kind of script in the wrong place. Server code belongs in a Script in ServerScriptService; code for one player belongs in a LocalScript in a place such as StarterPlayerScripts or StarterGui, and a LocalScript in ServerScriptService does not run. Press Play with the Output window open: an error names the script and the line. The script errors guide explains the common ones.
Can RoCode add a script to my place for me?
Yes. RoCode is an independent AI agent for Roblox Studio, not made by Roblox. Its Studio plugin writes scripts into the place you have open and compile-checks them. Each script here has a Build this into my place with RoCode button that opens the RoCode chat for it. You need Roblox Studio on Windows or macOS, a desktop browser and a free account, with free credits every day.
Do I need to know Luau to use these scripts?
No. Every script comes with where it goes and the settings worth changing, and its guide explains each part of the code, the common errors and how to test it. The scripting for beginners guide is a good place to start learning.
